ABOUT INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES ALUMNI

WHO ARE I.P.S ALUMNI
In the Latin phrase – book, the word ‘ALUMNI’ is derived from the noun ‘alere’ – to nourish, meaning former pupil or student. For students, graduates, staff, ex-staff and friends of I.P.S. it is a “ticket to ride” with an itinerary of local and global connections.

The Institute’s Alumni Association, now fondly known as IPS ALUMNI, was formed to bring together students, staff and graduates to support the Institute in the realization of its Mission and Vision and to encourage an active involvement in the rich community life of IPS through social, intellectual and educational activities.

With a rich heritage dating back to the founding years of the Institute, the IPS Alumni spans more than forty three (43) years and embraces an extensive community of diverse peoples and experiences. Graduates, current and former staff and those who have enjoyed a close association with the Institute have independently laid claim to a lifelong relationship with IPS, while uniting to form a fellowship of knowledge.

The Institute is very proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and the contribution our alumni give to their chosen industry or profession, communities, and beyond.  Our Alumni community is diverse and extensive made up of people from every age group, all walks of life and found all over the world.

Membership is available to all graduates and former IPS Students who attended for one year or more. Active IPSAA membership is achieved by paying annual dues, for Regular, Associate and Life Memberships.  Payment of dues to the IPSAA provides the funds for the organization to carry out its goals and objectives, especially for its operations and initiatives relative to the support of the Institute’s programmes and the achievement of IPS Mission goals. No matter where you are located or when you attended IPS, you are part of the ever-growing IPS alumni family.
